Dr. Martin grew up in Urbandale, Iowa with her parents and two younger sisters. After high school, she attended the University of Kansas for undergrad, where she picked up rowing and zeroed in on dentistry as her future profession. She returned to Iowa to attend the University of Iowa School of Dentistry. For the last sixteen years, she has called the Quad Cities her home.  Dr. Martin has four children ranging in age from 11-15 and not one but two rambunctious and adorable goldendoodles at home! Her husband works in education and, like many parents, they spend a lot of time driving their children to and from sports and school events. The entire family loves cheering for the Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes, as well as traveling around the U.S. for fun, friends, and family. If and when she can find a spare minute, Dr. Martin likes to spend time playing pickleball and enjoying her garden in the summer months.  Dr. Martin was one of those kids who enjoyed going to the dentist and she strives to provide that same experience for all of her patients, young and old!
